THE CASTLE BREWERY
Queen Margrete the 1st build a convent on Gavnø in the 15th century. Back then, they were self-sufficient and baked their own bread and brewed their own beer. Today, the Castle Brewery carries on the tradition of beer production at Gavnø. The beer is produced according to original recipes with high quality ingredients. Just as it was done during Queen Margrete the 1st.

GAVNØ IPA
A beautiful amber colored beer with dense creamy foam. Bursting with citrus and tropical fruit notes, perfectly balanced by a sweet, malty base to give a smooth mouthfeel and just the right amount of bitterness on the finish.

An elegant copper-colored fermented beer with dense creamy foam. A pleasent sweetness and great fullness with aroma of chocolate and caramel.

A golden and tranparent beer with white foam. Citrus fruit and floral hops and oatcake malt combine to make a wonderfully refreshing beer

A beautiful amber colored fermented beer with dense creamy foam. Rich and luscious, this heavily hopped amber ale harmonises a quartet of aromatic hops with full-bodied grains.
